First season was great, I almost stopped watching the 2nd season because it was so circular, contrived, try hardish - almost crap.
Regarding thread update Who is this Miriam person and who does Wade think he is trying to get her (him?) axed?

That’s depressing. I was excited to start the 2nd season.
One of the most disappointing series I’ve watched from Season 1 to Season 2 was Stranger Things.

Dammit. Now you guys really have me disappointed. The first season was some of the best TV I’ve ever watched. The storyline was fantastic. The only problem I had initially was the pacing and character development. But it’s easy to get over that once you’re able to pick up on where they are going with the plot.

(I’m not voting on any of these)
But yeah.
Stranger Things S1 = great
Stranger Things S2 = meh
And unfortunately I don’t think either show will ever be able to get back to their season one form.

Agreed on the Stranger Things point. Obviously holding out hope I find something different in Westworld. I honestly didn’t think the writers could screw up, with how detailed season 1’s script was.

How the hell did this page turn into a Westworld convo?

Anybody have any sound recommendations for pre emergent for the yard? I’ve been rolling with Scott’s Brand the last two years. What do you guys use?

I didn't exactly do it any favors either by getting off-topic.
I'll try to correct that here by stating that I hope Emmert comes down with the full weight of the NCAA on LSU when all of this is finally sorted out.

Mark Emmert is fine man who loves justice. I'm sure he will do the right thing.

Played golf with mark when I was a student in 2003. Hes alright in my book. Cool story I know. I was playing solo and he was behind me on the first hole with one of his buddies. He asked if they could join me and I agreed not even knowing who he was. Really nice guy from my experience.

So does it seem like Wade will not coach during the tournament?
What a strange situation.

I have zero idea how the NCAA will handle these type situations. It involves so many schools who recruited players inappropriately.
I believe the larger punishments would be for coaches who conspired to get players to their school. The key is how did the school react when this was discovered? Did they sit the players? Fire the coach?
LSU has no choice but to suspend Wade.
