Hasn't the NCAA already looked into this and said that as long as the player was no longer playing on the team or the team suspended the player after this news was released, no harm no foul? Both Martin and Quarterman were no longer at LSU when this came out.

You guys aren't seeing the forest from the trees here. You're so eager for an LSU black eye that you do not see they are going after what connects all of the schools: the bag men. This is a potential chain of dominoes that isn't going to get played out on an internet message board or in the court. This is politics behind closed doors with a lot of damage control being discussed.

“Offer” and “payment” are different and the differences are easily defended.
Example, “my offer included immediate playing time, choice of jersey number and locker, preferred dorm room, etc”. “I never offered money”. “I told him his family could get front row tickets in our family section at the PMAC”.
Won’t matter though. Because it won’t ever come to LSU having to defend this to the NCAA.

I don't think anyone believes the FBI cares anything about LSU. Truthfully, I don't think they could care any less about Will Wade. However, what the NCAA decides to do with the information is a completely different matter and is why this thread exists.
