As a neutral fan, I thought the UGA/LSU game yesterday was bad arse

UGA attempted a take over like they did to Notre Dame last year to totally disrespect LSU. They show up in numbers, claim almost a 4th of the seats in Death Valley, and they even threw a UGA fan parade in Baton Rouge.

LSU comes out fired up about it and demolishes UGA in front of all those UGA fans that made the drive believing LSU was a sure win. Sending all those disrespectful dawgs home has to feel so sweet for the LSU players.

It was a great atmosphere with the dawg fans there. Nothing but respect for Georgia and there fans.

So fans traveling to an away game that occurs once every 8 years is disrespectful?

It is disrespectful to take over an opponent's stadium?

I think it is impressive.

Bs. They were arrogant as frick and like op said that were 100% sure they were going to win and the ones I interacted with acted like it. It was one of my favorite game day experiences of all time kicking their arse and sending them back on a sad ride home

UGA played like they felt entitled to a win while LSU played like their life depended on that game. salute to LSU and Big Ed.

I noticed Big Ed with his dagger to the heart deal on that next to last TD. I thought he was a bit early on that one but he was correct.

The UGA fans I came across were very respectful and I enjoyed talking with them. As it is with most fanbases, they were a far cry from the blowhard UGA fans on this site.

Same can be said about all the fanbases except Florida. Their fans are equally as bad in person as they are on here.

Most of the fans I hung with were very excited and respectful. I’m sure there were some who weren’t.

Every Georgia fan I talked with were nice and respectful. They were very excited to make the trip, especially the ones making their first trip to Tiger Stadium. I'm almost positive the parade was in New Orleans where many of the Dog fans stayed.

I remember them being insufferable entitled pricks in 2003.

It was a great game -- a lot on the line -- between two great SEC programs with proud fanbases. Both teams are well coached and loaded with very talented players who played their butts off for 60 minutes. I really enjoyed watching it.

Truth

The UGA fans around us were very confident they were going to win (and there's nothing wrong with that) but they were also very friendly. We had a great time.

Tidalsurge, please stop being nice and sensible. How are we supposed to despise your toothless arse if you keep doing this?

Interacted with several UGA fans and they were very respectful. Really excited to experience a game in tiger stadium and expected it to be a great game. Didn’t encounter any jerks.

I'm sure LSU was a great host, but you're not supposed to treat your guests that way.
