As a long suffering Bama Basketball fan I’m proud of this season.

With Jacksonville St becoming a Q3 win, Alabama has officially not played a single Q4 game. They’re the only team ranked in the top 40 in NET that has not. For reference, Gonzaga has played 7 and Baylor 6. Alabama is 7th in NET and has the most Q1&Q2 wins in the country at 14

This team has earned everything they’ve gotten. Don’t know how far we will go in the NCAAt but it’s been one fun ride.

When I said Nate Oats was the best coach in the SEC last year, this board laughed at me. This is only the beginning.

The Wimp Sanderson era was a lot of fun when I was growing up in the 1980s. I followed Bama basketball equally as close as I followed Bama football at that time. Hopefully, Oats can keep things trending upward.

Good season but this doesn’t move him to the best coach in the SEC.

I enjoy SEC basketball in general. My biggest concern with Alabama come tournament time is when the shots arent falling, the team hasnt shown the ability to slash and drive to the basket consistently and also the lack of a inside presence.

In grind it out tourney games, sometimes you have to force things inside and draw fouls. I think that is a big reason they lost to OU and Arkansas in the second half of the season.

It’s one season with a bunch of seniors. Good season but we’ll see if he can maintain consistency

But he’s not.. Muss is right now. Bama returned everything and Arkansas lost 89 percent of production from last year

As a basketball fan I really enjoyed the Sonny and Wimp days. Their successes increased interest and fan support throughout the state.

Oats has done a great job and I am hopeful that a Pearl-Oats state wide excitement and enthusiasm returns to the days of Wimp and Sonny.

(would Oats go plaid?)

Bama has 9 new players this year. Only 4 guys returned. Muss also feasted on Cupcakes in the OOC. If Bama played Arkansas OOC we would be sitting at 23-3 or 24-2

We have 9 guys returning and are adding a top 10 class with 2 5* players and The #2 JUCO player in America. Also will be returning our extremely talented French Big Man who if he stayed in 2021(instead of reclassifying to 2020) class would have also been a 5* but got hurt before this season.
