At least the current brand with the rubber pellets. A simple look at statistics shows that injuries occur far more often on this surface. We lost Metchie because of this bullshite turf. The players dont like it.
In an era of football concerned with player safety, how is this being overlooked?

I played on the original. This is light years better than carpeted cement.

Not a better option currently. Can't believe they used astroturf as long as they did considering it's basically a giant toothbrush

Thought this was about indoor only (excluding Glendale AZ). Completely agree about outdoor stadiums though. Can't be a weather thing because Penn State has the worst weather in the country but maintains real grass
