I'll never understand the Bama obsession with thinking every announcer is against them. Hell, Gary Danielson sounded downright depressed that he didn't get to call the Bama game and had to call LSU/OM yesterday.
Greg is fine and does a good job. They're just not used to Gary or Fowler slurping them.

Fans at a lot of programs feel the same way about him and their respective teams.
I think he calls exactly what he sees, good and bad, and his observational breakdowns are usually quite good.
Obviously there’s something about the way he speaks that must rub people the wrong way, I just don’t really understand what it is.

Danielson has a bad habit of talking while the ref is announcing the penalty/call on the field. Annoying as heck.

I don't mind McElroy honestly. They seem to put him on a lot of Bama games though. Networks should keep commentators away from their alumni games imo.
