Arky will be a handful for everyone this year.

Last year they were a very tough, hard-nosed football team. That type of play will win you a bunch of games, and keep games close against teams with superior talent.
They have stout offensive and defensive lines, depth in the secondary, and a punch you in the face attitude.
I expect them to upset either Bama or A&M this year.

While we appreciate the sentiment and agree we will be a tough out, our DL is new, as is our DL coach.
Bama would be an upset. A&M is not.

So will State. And LSU and A&M have to get better at some point. Ole Miss will get better as the year progresses. Blood bath in the West again.

I just remembered that you all hired Deke Adams to coach your D-line. Now I hope you tear shite up in 11 of your 12 games but good luck with that hire. I'm genuinely sorry.

All the hype they're getting this year makes me think the opposite. I think they'll be good, but am I the only one not super impressed by their QB? If they get into a pass-to-win situation I wouldn't trust that guy to win the game for me.

Our QB position is the least of my worries. We are fine there. Its the lines that are the question mark, and where we match up there. We have a bigger line that last year, and that may mean slower off the ball.

We got into a shootout against Ole Miss (52-51 game) and he threw for 330 yards and 3 TDs. Added another 3 rushing TDs. Threw the game-tying TD with no time left.
He threw for 330 and 3 TDs against Alabama too. I'm not sure why so many act like he's a bad passer.

Briles did an amazing job with KJ. His passing improved consistently during the year.

Piggie is definitely improving. It will be nice to get some good games out of them for a while.

Our OL should be outstanding. The DL has question marks with so many new faces.
As with many SEC teams, we hit the portal hard... both for starters and depth. If guys like Sanders play as expected, we'll be fine.
I think we'll be a handful regardless. Winning will depend on unknowns.

Arkansas got a gift with officiating last year at your house on 4th down which u did not get. Lol, that WR you ran to our DB and flopped down to get that flag has been making comedy gifs for a reason.
You come to MSU this year, a far better team on both sides, good luck with that.

Yeah, I think the Arky game will be good as it always is, but this is not one of the games that worries me much.
Last year, honestly, I thought pre-season that A&M would beat Bama but Arkansas scared me simply because of the huge winning streak Ags had in that and the fact it was usually close. I just figured the law of averages would catch up.
Pigs had their day, back to losing now....
