If you really want to look at the culture problem at Arkansas, it's far from just Chad Morris.

It's the fact that the university wants to be located in Little Rock and Fayetteville, and now Dallas.

It's not like Fayetteville is a rural area, it's the best area and has the largest airport in the state. Idk like to me they have the population I that area alone to not even rely on Little Rock fans.

If Arkansas wants to be competitive in the SEC West once again, they simply decide to play their games in Fayetteville, after all they invested money in a stadium expansion and your only two home Conference games are Auburn and Mississippi State two weeks apart?

That's just stupid. Jackie Sherrill decided from year 1 that Mississippi State was going to stop playing their games in Jackson, that on campus games give MSU the best advantage to win. And really I think we've gotten more big wins since 1991 than we did before.

I'm just really surprised in 2019 that Arkansas still justifies this practice.

Is 2-Win Jackie really who you want to cite as an example of doing things well?

They need to move all the games to XNA and change the Aggie series to Home and Home

Two win Jackie took Mississippi State to the SEC Championship Game, something Ole Miss not Texas A&M can say.

And also defeated Spurrier in both of his trips to Starkville when we hardly defeated Florida before.

So yeah on campus games matter

Read several yrs ago that the Hawg athletic dept. wanted / s to play all home games on campus but politicians in the Little Rock area wanted / s at least one game there for economic reasons; they want the revenue generated by the game to stay in Little Rock. I presume the same issue remains.

Mississippi State literally caused Missouri to melt so hard after their loss that they started their protest

The games in Little Rock were to include the fans who couldn't make it to the games on campus.

Also high school football was strong in Central Arkansas.

Frank Broyles wanted to include the entire state in the program. Many fans get to watch the team who wouldn't be able to otherwise.Hogs fans love their team.

The aggie game should be home and home, and Jerry can get us another game at his palace each year.

Yeah but Jerry wants us to play in his stadium each year and both teams get paid a ton of money to do so.

5M is more than every bowl game.

Their winning percentage is higher in Little Rock than Fayetteville.

This is a solid thread, I've never really thought about this in depth. 10/10.

Blame Jerry Jones on the annual Texas A&M game in his stadium. Ego and money reigns supreme for him. It was under the guise of helping recruiting in Texas but that wasn’t the primary reason.
