Arkansas vs Florida (basketball)

Any Florida fans willing to give us a run down of your team? I haven't watched Florida play yet this year, but looking through the numbers, I see this being an extremely tough out for Arkansas.

Its in Gainesville where they are red hot from 3. We suck at perimeter defense and being on the road. Gators by 30+.

The Niagara Purple Eagles would be a tough out for us on the road. Florida will be near impossible. Florida by 20 like every other road game we've played.

We live and die by the 3, Hayes is playing better inside but we are light and small down low. If the 3’s are falling prepare for an offensive show, If they aren’t we don’t play good enough D to beat good teams. Shots usually fall at home though, and Chiozza is one of the best distributors in the country when he’s on, he’s had the flu though so who knows.

I saw earlier in the year your team was scoring gobs of points. Then y'all hit a slump apparently, much like Arkansas. What's your feel for the Gators going in to Wednesday's game?

That's frustrating.
I guess Arkansas can hope for an off night and work extra hard on closing out against the perimeter.
I am not optimistic about winning in Gainesville, but Hogs have got to be thinking of stealing a road game or two. I expect Arkansas to play very hard.

Expect us to shoot 20+ 3’s whether they are falling or not, we don’t get much scoring inside without Egbunu.

Outside of Hayes, our bigs (Eggs, Stokes, Johnson, Gak, and Bullard) are either hurt or sick. If Arky can get inside and convert, they have a good chance. It's how Ole Miss and the refs beat them last Saturday

Average at best, better on the offensive glass but still just barely average. We are small with all the injuries down low. We are hoping to get our 6’11 center Egbunu back by February, but it’s a struggle down low for this team right now.

I don't know what's going on with John, but we need him and need him healthy and playing to go anywhere in the tourney. He is a great player but been out for a year not sure how good he will be when he finally returns. Really not sure what this team is. We shoot well, or we suck. If we can't get better play inside we are an average team. Can beat anyone when hot, but can lose to anyone when cold

Looking at our remaining schedule this has to be a concern. All road games look tough and I think we will be the underdog in all of them. That LSU and State loss really put us behind the 8 ball for the remainder of the season.
