Arkansas won every SEC series because the bats averaged close to eight runs a game. That helped an average pitching staff and also they didn't have games where they imploded except the 16-1 Bama game. Arkansas led the nation in home runs and probably walks. I would trade some home runs for a few more arms.

Arkansas didn't even have a Friday starter going into this season and Kopps was a nobody that recovered from TJ surgery.

In 2019 Connor Noland and Patrick Wicklander were both Saturday and Sunday starters. However during the 2020 season before it was cancelled, they both lost starting positions. It was found out that Wicklander was a type one diabetic which explains his regression. Noland, no one knows his problem but he did gain weight and he seemed more out of shape.

Not really, if Arkansas was loaded at pitching then yes they are capable of doing it. The Kopps or bust situation was and is a losing formula. But the pitching issues didn't improve like they usually do under DVH in the postseason. When Arkansas gave up eight runs to a tech school from New Jersey, Arkansas was in trouble and if it wasn't for Kopps, Arkansas loses in the Fayetteville regional.

Yes a team that overachieved choked. Won the SEC, SEC tournament title and the west as they were picked third in the west.

Cream always rises to the top when its crunch time. Some teams just dont have it when it matters.

Also, it's funny how many fans who got offended anytime the Hog's greatness was questioned are now acting like they knew the team was fatally flawed all along.

If you look at my post history you can find at least 5 times where I said this team wasn’t a good as it’s record indicates. But I was mocked by other team fans who insisted the team was the best.

Ouch. Didn’t know a person like this existed. As least they stay relevant.

Arkansas, Florida State, and Mississippi State are as dominant as programs without a Natty can possibly be. It's truly amazing that we have none combined. Baseball is a frickin cruel sport.

I promise you Tennessee will not win the CWS.

In fact, I expect a non-SEC team to win it. You lot couldn't even beat Arkansas...

At that point in the season, taking a 1-0 series lead in Super Regionals with a complete A__whipping on a team, then losing 2 straight at home. ITS A CHOKE.

Not really. NCST led most of the innings in the second and third games.

Felt bad for Hawgs, was pulling for them once LSU was eliminated.

Hope Knopps arm was NOT damaged due over use.

You know nothing of bitter till you follow FSU and the “Trail of Tears” to Omaha. Different stadium, same results. Heartbreak

It was a good year. It was the first time Arkansas won the SEC and the tournament in the same year.
