I think they do. I have them going 8-4/9-3. One of the biggest reasons is the running game will wear down opponents.

I wouldn't rule it out, but I don't think it will happen.

Losing Burks will hurt more than a lot of Arky folks think IMO. The offense is going to be very run heavy with some admittedly awesome backs but Bama defense knows how to lock down run games, and without Burks going beast mode on 3rd downs to move the chains whenever needed, the Hogs are going to have a lot more drives end early than in 2021.

I think it will be between A&M and Arky for sure.

Arky needs a WR to step up and replace Burks and keep their offense 2 dimensional if it's going to be them.

A&M needs a QB to step up and play cleanly and dependably if it's going to be us.

If both of those happen, then we're going to have ourselves one hell of a game in Arlington.

Burks benefited from the top rushing offense in the SEC. Putting that many players in the box will leave players open and Burks was too good to be single covered.

You can't replace someone like that but Arkansas will have some transfers coming in with a talented WR freshman class and the already young WRs from last year.

If you go by star rankings this is one of the most talented WR rooms we've ever had, but I realize it doesn't always work out that way

Stars are good for the fans but once they step on the football field as a freshman then the past is the past.

Despite Burks being gone, Arkansas will have better but inexperienced depth at that position. Also Knox at TE will help.

Uhhhhh took you to two SEC Championship games while playing in the same division as LSU, Bama, and Auburn.

Correct with one in 2006 being legitimate. The other two in 2002 and only because Bama was on probation and Arkansas got destroyed by Bama at home. The other was a split with State but lost the right to go to Atlanta with the state loss. This was when the SEC wasn't near the beast now. Nothing that any other decent coach couldn't do.
