Ugh. I'll forgo the usual dumpster fire crap. Arkie is a dead man walking on offense & defense. If y'all want to win some games with the talent that is willing to go to UA y'all have to do something radically different. I know. The triple option is ugly. You won't beat the big dogs with it. With the talent y'all can reasonably get to sign it will get y'all bowl eligible. And y'all will be a pain in the arse of every SEC team adjusting their defense to counter it.

Only one man can return Arkansas to the 8 and 9 win monster they used to be...and that man is Gus Malzahn. His track record for that plateau is unbeatable.

Oh yeah and it’s really easy to transition back to a pro style offense after playing the triple option about 10 years with undersized blockers and a non throwing QB.

Man that year y’all beat us in the Orange Bowl, y’all were so good. You can clearly still win a lot of ballgames like that.
I really do think a member of the SEC underclass should go that route. Why not Ark?

Hogs can play physical ball. Their 2015 team could flat run the ball in the SEC. By the end of the year there were few teams that could stop the Hogs balanced offense because they had a solid power running game.

My problem with it was the inconsistency. Some teams could figure out how to defend it early in the game and we couldn’t fall back to a passing game. It works better if your QB can also throw, but it is difficult to recruit a QB that can also pass for a triple option team. It was fun for a while but I’m glad we are moving on.

Not sure about all the other comments.
I was the one that mentioned it. Arkie isn't going to out talent anybody soon. A good coach that can put together a disciplined offense can get Arkie back on the win column sooner rather than later.
