I thought Bert was a good recruiter?

North Texas had more talent in every position group than Arkansas, that’s Bielema. Several of our upperclassmen think that it is ok to admonish fans for booing the historic shitshow of a game they were witnessing, rather than taking responsibility for their part of that shitshow. That’s Bielema as well, as is the culture of accepting losses and failure without giving maximum effort at every opportunity to prevent it.

Morris is probably in over his head, but that is more the fault of the people who hired him, rather than a coordinator or coach at a successful D1 school, who knows what it takes to compete in this league. The present meltdown is the fault of the people who inexplicably expected something more than a dumpster fire. The most optimistic of homers figured on a 7-5/6-6 type season, and reality has just shown us that even that was wildly unrealistic.

Morris is responsible for play calling, personnel decisions, attitude, and effort at this point. He should make some tough decisions in those areas this week, and weed out all non-hackers, regardless of their seniority. That’s if he truly thinks he has a future here.
