Arkansas had the chance to hire Phil Fulmer in 2012, and blew it

Would have been a stable hire. Stability. The one thing we needed.

We could have avoided John L Smith that one year, and then Big Fat Alcoholic Guy for the next five.

I don't think you can even begin to wholly blame Jeff Long, because Long had Arkansas PTB's up his arse on day one. Common knowledge some of those cry babies never gave him a chance from day one. Thus, we can never know what Long would have done without knives to his throat.

Burt was an alcoholic? That’s the first I’m hearing that. How many did it take to get a man that large drunk?

Why would Fulmer go to Arkansas? He won a natty.

Didn't the last coach to a win a natty at Arky leave?
Oh, never mind. I was mistaking Minnesota for Arkansas - you know a school that has actually won a natty.

You could have avoided being the only team that went 0-6 against Kevin Sumlin
