The Soccer team winning the SEC title reminded me that you guys had such a great overall sports year last year, so my question is, would any of you trade your sports year with Mississippi State from the 2020-2021 year which would give you a baseball natty?

I would think not as great as you were in so many sports, but thought it might be an interesting question because that would give you title in the big 3 sports, wouldn't it?

We have titles in many sports. No, I wouldn't trade.

MSU has kicked Florida's and many others tails in baseball since at least the 70's? Yet this was their 1st National Championship?

I am enjoying each seasons highs and suffering the lows, just like everyone else.

Just like Brooks and Dunn sang, the path to heaven ain't just for high acheivers

A baseball natty would be great fun for Arkansas, but only because we have a big baseball fanbase so it would make for a good party.

State has had a big baseball fanbase longer than we have, so cheers to them finally getting one. They deserve it.

We are good enough now in basketball (and have cared about it through years of drought) and that's pretty fun. Elite 8 in basketball was as exciting as going to the CWS if not moreso.

We should have done both, though.

Nah. Arkansas baseball will get theirs at some point. Just as State finally did.

You are probably right. Of course people have been saying that about FSU for a while now too, do you just never know.

I would make that trade, just for the hardware. Having said that, it's unusual for Arkansas to be so dominant in a sport, except for track, so last season was quite enjoyable for baseball. I mean, MSU and Vandy played for the national championship, but they were 0-4 against Arkansas on the season.

Pretty rare the best baseball team wins the championship.

I’ll take our overall sports year.

I thought Dave Van Horn did a great job last year as his team wasn't even picked to win the west. Arkansas had Kopps and that was it. Winning an SEC title with just one pitcher is good coaching.

FSU doesn't have as good of teams as Arkansas had right now. It took DVH awhile but just recently since 2018, he has shown more consistency getting Arkansas to the CWS. I don't think he will retire until he finally wins one.

Good question bigD. I wouldn't trade. I agree with Hawgeye. Just feels like eventually DVH will get one.

I’d take one Elite 8 over 2-3 baseball titles but I’ve always been a big basketball guy.

March Madness is the best time of the year and it isn’t close besides Masters week and they just happen to occur around the same time

Elite 8 in basketball is a big deal. It'd be hard to give that up. Other than that Id rather have the natty in baseball.

Elite 8 was huge not just for that year but has helped spring the program forward.

Preseason top 16 this year and number 2 class for 2022. That Elite 8 run and Moody being a lottery pick were huge.

Baseball program already gets top 5-10 classes every year

Lots of good answers in here and none are wrong. Even though your baseball season ended in disappointment, y'all had a really bad arse season, and it was enjoyable as hell to watch I am sure.

Just recently since 2017. Before that it was in the top 20. The 2018 team was from the 2015 class that was ranked 43.
