Arkansas fans - Why did Bret Beliema fail at Arkansas?

He did a good job at Wisconsin. At the time I thought it was a really good hire for Arkansas. I didn't expect him to win championships but I expected him to be competetive. Why did he fail?

Lost Pittman. Replaced good assistants with bad ones. Is a drunk.

This and and he slowly started shifting to focus on strength instead of having a balance between that and speed.
Many said its because his style of running the ball wasn't going to work longterm but you can dispel those thoughts by looking at his offenses when Enos was the OC.

He had a program built by Barry and had Barry holding his hand at Wisconsin. Didn’t have that at Arkansas either.
The 2014 team had 12-14 guys that legit played in the NFL and he went 7-6 with them

Seemed to be a severe lack of endurance as well. His teams were always gassed and collapsed in the 2nd half.

Wouldn’t you hate Arkansas as well if you were a “Kansas” fan? They have one decent sport and lost first weekend last year and just lost to Dayton. Yes Dayton

In fairness to Jenn, Badgers fans were awful to her when they were at Wisconsin.

He was in a system and continued that system. Same as Lincoln Riley and Ryan Day. Had Barry Alvarez actually stepped back and let him do his thing at Wisconsin it would have failed.
