• Head coach Mike Anderson is in his 17th year as a head coach and he has never had a losing season. He is one of just four active coaches in the NCAA to have 15 years of head coaching experience and never have a losing season, joining North Carolina’s Roy Williams, Michigan State’s Tom Izzo and Gonzaga’s Mark Few.
• Coach Anderson is the only active coach in the NCAA to accomplish the feat at three different schools.
• Arkansas was 14-14 with three regular-season games to play, putting Coach Anderson’s streak in jeopardy.

• The answer Isaiah Joe is going into the record books. He has already set four school records, is threatening an SEC record and could have one of the top freshman seasons in NCAA history.
vRECORD WATCH 1: Joe set the Arkansas freshman record for 3-pointers made in a season at Missouri (making seven in the game on Feb. 12). He has made 108 3-pointers, breaking the previous mark of 83 by Rotnei Clarke in 2009.
vRECORD WATCH 2: Joe broke Arkansas record for 3-pointers made during SEC play vs. Ole Miss (Mar. 2), making two in the win. He made 60 3-pointers in league action this season. The previous mark was 52 set by Anthlon Bell (2016) and Janero Pargo (2002).
vRECORD WATCH 3: Joe made four 3-pointers at Vanderbilt to break the school’s single-season record. He has 108 for the season, breaking Scotty Thurman’s mark of 102 3’s made in 1995.
vRECORD WATCH 4: Joe has attempted 256 3-pointers WHILE LEADING THE SEC IN 3-PT % breaking Pat Bradley’s mark of 249 in 1999.
• RECORD WATCH 5:Has made 108 3-pointers in his rookie season, which ranks second in SEC history by a freshman. The SEC freshman record for 3-pointers made in a season is 113 by Kentucky’ Jamal Murray (2015-16).
• RECORD WATCH 6: Joe only needs to make one more 3’s to enter the NCAA record book at sixth for triples in a season by a NCAA freshman. Current freshman Antoine Davis of Detroit Mercy has made 132 treys this season and broke the NCAA freshman record previously held by Stephen Curry’s (122)

Providence isn't often in the national spotlight, so this question tends to pop up every March. Cooley has several bald spots on the back of his head, which have led to some less than kind remarks.
Cooley suffers from a skin condition that results in those patches. Cooley has never revealed what the exact condition is.
One possible answer for that condition is alopecia areata, the same condition that former NBA player Charlie Villanueva has. That disease can cause round patches of hair loss and even complete, total hair loss.

I think Todd Day and Corliss Williamson go off in this game...

Providence would lose 70-99 or so. I'd give both nuts to have our Hog teams have any of the motor and drive of Nolans prime teams. We were never the best talent wise but Nolans prime teams had a motor, drive, and energy that could not be matched.

Rule Changes for NIT
• The 3-point line will be extended by approximately 1 foot, 8 inches to the same distance used by FIBA for international competition (22 feet, 1.75 inches).
• The free throw lane will be widened from 12 feet to 16 feet, consistent with the width used by the NBA.
• The shot clock will reset to 20 seconds after an offensive rebound instead of the full 30 seconds.
• Team fouls will reset at the 10-minute mark of each half for the purpose of determining free throws and one-and-one free throws will be eliminated. Teams will shoot two bonus free throws after the fifth team foul of each 10-minute segment. Additionally, teams will be awarded two bonus free throws after the second team foul committed under two minutes remaining in each half if that foul occurs before the fifth team foul of the segment. In each overtime period, team fouls will reset, and teams will shoot two free throws beginning with the fourth team foul or the second team foul committed under two minutes remaining if that comes before the fourth team foul of the overtime period.

Hmm...
Perhaps Melisandre birthed some black spirit out of her coochie and it attacked his head.

time machine with 1994 Arkansas and 1973 Providence would be excellent.
