BREAKING: Arizona has parted ways with Sean Miller, sources told @Stadium. Spent 12 years at UA, had one year left on contract.

Miller was charged with head coach responsibility for failure to promote atmosphere of compliance. Administration stuck by Miller for 4 years.

Word is Kansas is expecting to get hammered...that is why they reworked Self contract and their best recruiting coordination went to Texas. Wade is on the clock.

It was a minor miracle that Miller survived this long. Didn’t he have even more incriminating stuff than Wade

All of the schools involved in the FBI probe had dollar amounts and/or receipts confirmed I believe other than LSU. Wade's looks/sounds worse than most because you could actually hear him talking about it. Sean Miller had both.

They're going to have a tough time finding a coach, because their program will be under sanctions soon.

LSU better hold on to Wade for the time being. Who would want to go into that mess at this point.

No reason to fire Wade. No paper trail, no mention of $ amounts.

Make the NCAA prove something.

This is what I gathered also from looking further into this a while back. It's no paper trail to directly link Wade.

To pivot a bit I don't think LSU athletic department trust that something else might not turn up involving Wade. Giving the reluctance to extend his contract.

He has 2 years left on his contract and Alleva forced him to amend it during the suspension episode so that they can easily fire him with cause the moment any Level 1 allegations are served by the NCAA.

One would hope that if the NCAA has a NOA to serve, they would do so in the next year but it's already been two years so who knows?

It's why LSU changed his contract
If they release something LSU can fire him with cause and not pay a buyout
And at the time that was done LSU would have owed a lot more money for that buyout
Since it's dragged out, LSU will owe significantly less at this point
The decision will come when it's time to resign Wade as he is likely due an extension
I wish they would just release whatever they want to release and be done with it, it's gone on way too long

The NCAA has also been looking into him since before the FBI investigation. My opinion is that they're either continuing to find things on him or that they can't find anything concrete. It makes no sense really that Wade is the last to be notified. It would be a crazy coincidence that he just happens to be the last one.

Exactly. Woodward seems more than happy to let Wade dangle on the hook for now. And with the shitstorm in Baton Rouge right now, there is no effing way he's extending that contract this year. I think if it happens it will be after the 2021-22 season. He has two years left on his contract.

The basketball case has been with the IARP since September 2020 and we've still heard nothing. It was supposed to take like 6 months max. Seems pretty nuts it's taking this long if there's any kind of smoking gun here.

I seriously doubt they haven't found anything and rather are trying to make an airtight case and taking their sweet time about it.

But nobody really knows.

Dellenger said 6-12 months on BR radio for whatever that's worth.
