That OU has the most upside of any team since they will play 3 ranked teams in next 3 games and will be get in over Oregon or Bama, and it won’t even be a debate.

They will have 2 wins vs Baylor and 1 vs Okie St and Oregon and Bama will just have 1 win vs ranked team upcoming

Agree?

They need to get a dominant win in there somewhere, possibly all 3 games but they are certainly alive for it

12-1 Oklahoma will have a better resume than Alabama, that's undeniable.

Baylor hasn’t done much yet. They have a chance to prove they deserve to be there.
Oklahoma will have to win out and win big to have a chance.

If the committee put UGA at 4 with their loss to SCar (which I agree with Bc of UGA’s wins), then they will put Oklahoma at 4 if they win out. Oregon would not have had the quality wins that OU will if they both win out.

Not if the Mad Hatter beats Okie St in Lawrence on Saturday.

I don’t see OU winning out with that dog shite defense.

Makes no difference. The committee values quality wins tremendously more than a bad loss.

Exactly. The committee has shown that good wins can overcome bad losses. The KState loss is a bad loss, but could be overcome by wins against Baylor (x2), Texas, and Okie State.

Auburn and A&M are all better than anyone OU will have beaten this year. UT is close, regardless of how poorly they started the year.

Makes sense. OSU is on the fringe so would be interesting to see if they stay ranked.

Pretty sure it will be a debate. Right now the committee is viewing OU and Baylor relatively negatively, but certainly OU would have a good shot at top 4 if they win out.

On the flip side, Baylor could have 2 wins vs Oklahoma and a win vs Texas to finish, and be the undefeated Big 12 champ.

I wouldn't bet my beer money on it, but it's possible.

It's really not.

They're even money vs Texas, and they could upset OU once if things fell their way, but there is no way in hell they beat OU twice. I've seen them play. They just don't have the athletes.

I was saying that Okie St would no longer be a quality win for them if they (Okie St) were to lose to Kansas (the Mad Hatter) on Saturday because they would drop from the rankings.

We have an absolute beast at QB. WR are stacked and our DLINEMEN are NFL draft picks.

The backend of the D is managed well to utilize speed and we gang tackle. We have one of the fastest teams in the country. The athletes are there

If OU wins out they will certainly be a serious player.

Right now Oregeron looks to me like the team with the best chance to climb up. Opportunity to win 12 straight closing in over a potential 11-1 team. That has to be considered an impressive resume.

The AU game was long ago and it was competitive. Also this committee doesn’t seem to be punishing too much for 1 L. UGA #4 has by far the worst L of the contenders.

How can they leave out 12-1 Big 12 champ OU?

I don't think they can, even if the SEC runner up is 12-1.

If LSU or Bama lose the SECCG to 12-1 UGA, and OU and Oregon win out, playoffs will be OSU, Clemson, UGA, OU. IOW it will be conference champs minus Pac10 champ, IMO.
