Are we overlooking Missouri?

They're returning 9 starters on offense (including the best QB in the league) and 7 on defense. I don't expect them to win the east because of Georgia, but would it be surprising to see them win 9/10 games in a weak eastern division?

They’d be better off returning 0 on defense.

Returning starters is great if they’re good.

Doesn’t matter if they have a great QB if their receivers can’t stop dropping the ball

Their defense the past 2 years has been middle school tier. I don’t think returning 7 starters is gonna matter

Missouri as a school makes me wish that St. Louis as a city never existed so we wouldn't need to let them in our conference for the television market.

No, that would mean someone would have actually looked their way.

That's true. They gave up 45 to a terrible Arkansas team last year but were able to overcome it with their offense

I fully expect them to have a good year. I really expect Georgia to win the east, but you could just about interchange South Carolina, Missouri and Florida for the #2 slot, and any of them wouldn't surprise me.
For whatever reason, I don't think South Carolina nor Missouri get the respect they deserve....but Missouri gets even less than South Carolina.

Is this a serious thread?

Yes. They're defense was obviously terrible but I think with the offense they're returning and the way their schedule sets up I wouldn't be surprised at all to see them at 9-3 by the end of the year.

im most excited about our running game this season. Everyone wants to talk about Lock and passing but our RB duo is full blown legit, and they have one of the top Olines in the country.

7 returners on defense actually comforts me. Any offense with half a heartbeat will score 30+.
Lock will have to put up some video game stats every game to win games.
Are we overlooking Missouri?
Yes. and for good reason.

Best offense in the conference.
If we fix the defense...
To answer the OP, yes but what's new?

And he’s proven that he’s inconsistent doing that against P5 defenses. He’s shown the capability, just can’t sustain it.

Don’t forget to change the difficulty to junior varsity before you start the season

I think so. The biggest question mark, and it's colossal, is how good of an OC will Dooley be.
