We're not just the Southeast any more. We are the entire South. Do you think "Confederacy Conference" would trigger anybody?

No. By keeping it the SEC it will signal to UT and OU that they are not welcome here and really "less than" members. They will always be like unwanted step-children. Wouldn't be surprised if they both jump ship after a decade or so when they realize they had better success in their old conference.
