Don't think it really matters. That buzz saw is not showing up again this year and that is what it would take for Auburn to beat Alabama. So it doesn't really matter if we won't a rematch or not we'll just have to settle for playing #1 Alabama in the SECCG.

What’s more unlikely. Two miracles happening to win games against your rivals or playing your “A” game twice?

As others have said, Auburn put together a perfect game and we helped - all credit due. But as Aubies have said just 6 weeks earlier (and constantly over the last few years) - Gus will brilliantly game plan one week and the next get Richt-rolled (see what I did?). Enjoy this year's win against us. We are on an upward trajectory - I like our progress in year 2. How about yours? Don't care about the past, so don't 1980 me, etc. Now that the great state of Georgia is locked down the talent is coming to Athens ... enjoy your toilet paper trees ...

Richt has an undefeated team in year 2 with a clear shot at the playoff. You got exposed and blown out by Auburn. Richt would have won that game. You lose a ton of players from this years team especially on Defense. You are benefiting this year from the East being in shambles it won’t stay that way forever.

It’s really tough to beat a team twice in the same season.
Not saying Auburn couldn’t do it. But I like our chances better against AU. Revenge and all that...

I would welcome another shot at AU. But a chance to play #1 would probably be the best scenerio for UGA.

UGA wants nothing to do with Auburn again. Its not a good match up for the dawgs and the probability of getting curb stomped again is high. However, Bama will arse rape Georgia too, so its pick your Rat poison.

It very much does. A team that got skullfricked haughtily disparaging the skullfricker is a good thing.

Auburn fans have been saying Alabama is not s good all season long. Why are you changing your minds right before the game?

We don't really care. Most of us still think we are a year or two away, anyway....so it's a pick your poison situation.

Year 3 might not be what you think when you lose a lot of those Richt recruited defensive players.

Based on what? Your feeling?

You lose a ton of players from this years team especially on Defense.

And we have a ton coming back with experience. Doesn't Alabama lose a ton of players every year?

quote:

You are benefiting this year from the East being in shambles it won’t stay that way forever.

And we have improved. Are you saying we won't continue to improve?

For somebody who seems to have a very high opinion of himself, you really shouldn't.
Hint: The opinion you have of yourself is every bit as bad as your other opinions.

Then, is it safe to assume you have no idea about the talent Kirby has recruited?

2 things, though:
1. We are going from top 10 recruiting classes to top 5.
2. Different coaches.

Those two things have made a lot of difference.

I think UGA is set up well. I've always had my doubts about Kirby, though. Not that I think anything truly bad will happen, I'm just not sure he's going to be able to live up to expectations and his coaching lineage.

Not a lack of talent, but never quite enough.

I guess Aubies have long forgotten the LSU loss. We "curbed stomped" the team that "curbed stomped" the team that embarrassed Auburn. Better not get too cocky on one win where everything went right for Auburn and nothing for UGA that day. Rematch would likely be a whole nuther ballgame.

Of course not. Because UGA is better at every position, right?

It's strange you think that, you're the only one with that opinion.
