Are there any neat traditions for teams that take a bus to close-by opponents?

Tuscaloosa to Starkville and vice versa for example

Any traditional stop-offs at any old time country restaurants? Nice 84 mile trip.

Who else takes a bus trip? Does Auburn and UGA do bus rides to each other? 181 miles

Bama-Auburn? 157 miles

Ole Miss-Miss State - 93 miles

Tenner to Vandy - 180 miles

UGA stopped their team bus at the border prior to the game last year. Not sure if that is normal for them. But took up both lanes on the interstate and came to a complete stop

Ain't much on 82 between Tuscaloosa and Starkville. The best place to eat between the two is Anthony's in West Point.

Bama takes a bus to starkville, auburn and sometimes to Oxford. Not sure why they fly at all to Oxford. Its like 2 hours away.

Stallings always took a bus when we played in Georgia, either the dome or Athens.

I know the State and Ole Miss ROTCs meet halfway in Calhoun City to exchange the game ball. That random Mississippi Town is pretty much the halfway point for Starkville and Oxford so the ROTC's will run halfway there and go to either Oxford or Starkville to deliver it(whoever is hosting it).

Though I suppose the team that isn't hosting it runs halfway back as well? And the team that has to go back to deliver the ball runs there as well to run the full 93 miles? I'm not too familiar with it. They might just bus the team not carrying the ball so they only have to run the 46 or so miles.

The Ags take the bus to Arlington for the game at Cowboys Stadium against Arkansas. Or they did under Sumlin, we'll see if that changes with Jimbo.

Nothing particularly traditional about that, just takes about the same amount of time to go by bus the whole way rather than mixing in air travel and bus rides, I suspect.
