SC 20 UGa 17 - Gap is closed

1 game where everything goes wrong for GA with a noodle armed game mgr at QB, while everything goes right for south carolina doesn't mean the gap is closed

Look for UGA to boat-race south carolina this yr

Talent wise no one else is comparable top to bottom with UGA in the East.

UF has a chance if they get improved QB play and luck with injuries.

UT is building and could win 10 games with a functional QB.

No one else is anywhere close though.

On paper UGAs defense should be one of the best in the division since UF in the late 2000s. With functional QB play they are a playoff type team. With high level QB play they are a potential national championship winning team.

This is a year where the pieces are there again. It remains to see whether they can put them all together.

Now it feels like the off season.

Muschamp has a better record against Smart than Mullen, while also working with much less talent.

Why didn’t OP acknowledge Jake Fromm keeping all of those games closer than they should have been?

For the same reason OP ignored defensive touchdowns and injuries for UGA, but didn’t for the other schools. Trying to push a narrative.

UGA is a solid team but the work ethic is lacking.

This matches what Kirby said before Bowl game and why a number of players weren’t there (some were out for other reasons).

That hot take is only relevant in regards to the 2 sugar bowls.

Fla has the ability and the coaching to do it.
people say this like Kirby’s defense hasn’t shat on every single offense the offensive guru Mullen has put out. Hell, even Coley and a 5th rd “avg” QB dick-slapped Grantham last year.

Only a Swamp Rat can think 2 games, both (except for SC) have been won by UGA, constitutes "closing a gap".

So, what are you saying, you should run up the score against opponents or why bother risking injuries if you've already won the game?

Look Georgia fans, y’all are my second favorite team. But Unfortunately the Gators are definitely trending up. Hopefully Kirby had a good offensive coordinator hire, time will tell. I know you have better athletes but at least our games against each of y’all last year Fla. appeared better coached. Y’all really should destroy every team on paper .

It helps when you have your best playmakers on the field. Thanks for proving that point.

Because pretending like your grad transfer QB is going to step in and be an immediate upgrade because PFF likes him and he's been listed in some mocks is pure fantasy

Missouri fired the head coach and got rid of the offensive coaches. This should be a much improved offense and a much better head coach.
