Are LSU fans still happy with the coordinators that never had that responsibility?

The only time LSU has scored 70+ in a game in recent history …

They lost the game.

Who is worse about living in the past? LSU fans or Tennessee fans?

It’s obviously expediting O’s departure. No one but a very few are carrying water for O and his coordinators now.

Woodward will address it.

It was really crazy, and I said it then (wasn't alone) because coming off the bad season, Orgeron should have known that he had to get these hires right. I realize he did try to hire some experienced defensive coordinators, but when that didn't work out you'd think he would have sought some others that were or have been coordinators. I think he was just determined to "bring back the Joe Brady offense" and so he took an inexperienced guy that worked with Brady. He needed experienced coordinators and he hires rookies. Just doesn't make a damn bit of sense and didn't then either.

I was never "happy" about either. Just wanted to give them a chance to see what they could do before shitting all over them.

In all honesty, they haven't had enough time to determine if they're any good or not.
One freaking game on the West coast after a harrowing week of a hurricane, traveling by freaking bus or hours on end, practicing and staying in strange surroundings, worrying about family back home, etc.

Just a strange week all around and it showed when they hit the field.

I think the OC has a chance to be good with a little time. But, LSU isn't an on-the-job training destination. I have a lot of reservations about the DC when they come out in the first game and have all of the exact same problems as last season. That's very concerning. What's even more concerning is that Orgeron says that they fixed those problems in 2 practices after it wasn't fixed all offseason.

It’s definitely not the route I would have gone.

Not that I think it matters at this point, but I think Peetz had better showing than Jones did, but not by much.

Idc how good an offense might be, allowing 30+ points on defense ain’t gonna cut it.

That may have played a small part but this team was not prepared at all and did not fix a damn thing that troubled us last year. That is on our shrimp boat captain! Quite frankly I can't wait till his arse gets canned. He is not a good head coach and lucked out and had all the right pieces in 19.
