The way things are going, I won't even be mad.

You say that now but I can tell you from experience that you will care when it happens

Yeah, they'll brush it off like it's no thang.
Sure.
Sure.

After we win in 2007 I remember saying that I was playing with house money for the rest of my life. I certainly don't feel that way right now

Auburn had no fight in them. They bend over to Alabama and take it. LSU is not backing down.

Auburn has learned to take it like a good little bitch, yes.
It's not okay with us.

This is laughable. I couldn't care less that Bama is the champ. Most LSU fans care about more than just CFB. We get to cheer year round for our school. GUMPS AND AUBURN? Not so much.

wde..I think I remember you saying you go to grad school at bama. Do you still hate bama as much as you did before you started grad school there?

But goddamn, I have never seen Auburn fans act the way some (notice I say some) LSU fans have acted here over the past year. Is it because LSU was so close to the BCSNCG and Alabama just ripped it away? Did 21-0 followed by this past year really frick you people up that much? What gives, I say, what gives!?
Let's say Chizik (i know, but stay with me) leaves AU and goes to the pros (after winning you a NC). Comes back to Bama and proceeds to make them relevant again and win 3 of the last 4 NC's (one getting a mulligan after LOSING to you in the Iron Bowl). Ruining a perfect 13-0 season, to boot.
Wouldn't you have even MORE animosity for them than normal? Not to mention, they've been your biggest obstacle to maybe winning another NC or more.
Take all of that AND also understand that you are on a predominant LSU message board.

Yes and it's all because they know if Saban had stayed all of this success would be theirs instead
It's like when you have a great idea, nothing comes of it, then a couple years later someone else markets that same idea and makes millions

WAY more. Auburn was at least relevant a few years ago. It's been 6 years since LSU mattered.
Yeah because LSU wasn't reigning SEC champs ( all fans admitted that the SEC title game was the real national title game) this year.

Really, it has been a decade, backing into games don't count.
You can't BACK INTO a SEC title. But I wouldn't expect a dumbass Arky fan to know anything about SEC titles in football.
ETA: I guess You think Bama backed into its last two titles, right?

Actually, I was distraught about it. But after watching the national championship game against Notre Dame, I just sat there and actually felt kind of happy for Bama. Enjoy it while it lasts.

No. It still creeps out occasionally but I've tempered it somewhat. My girlfriend is an Alabama fan so I'm usually just cheering for a happy girlfriend. Also, I've taught a few classes here and had some student-athletes. Most have been great students and I enjoy seeing them succeed on and off the field (or court, or whatever), that is, except for when they're playing AU.
