Good man. Most people try to impress with Blue Label Johnny Walker, which is twice as much as your 18 yr Chivas and not nearly as enjoyable to me.

When your team sucks more than everyone else, you really don't worry about rivalries anyway.

Anyway, it's not like Tommy Tuberville went to Alabama and started setting the world on fire.

Thank you. It's always nice to hear some sensibility with the "if the shoe were on the other foot", because every SEC fanbase would have a sect of fans who would act just like certain LSU fans do if this happened to their program.

I agree completely.

The fans are frustrated. They see the talent miles has compiled. Just like Bama. Bama gets the #1 recruiting class every year. LSU usually gets #2-5. That's great.

The fans see the defense is always going to be in the top 5 usually. Miles said after '08 he would get the defense corrected. Miles then hires Chavis. Great hire!!!

The fans just don't understand why he won't do that on offense. If he had a OC who could get us in the top 25 in offense, LSU probably has another NC. I as a fan can handle losing games due to player personnel/turnover.

But our coaching on the offensive side of the ball is not very good. I think Miles thinks of himself as a guru of offense. Otherwise, I can't explain why he doesn't make the necessary changes. The players deserve better.

I think Miles is a very stubborn coach who can recruit lights out. He wins his way and loses his way. I think he could be right there on Saban's level right now if he hired a good OC. That's just my opinion. It doesn't mean anything.

I could not turn it down, was given to me as a gift. Personally, Pinch (Dimple) is my poison. Son received 2 boxes of Cohiba SIGLO II from a customer in Canada and his wife doesn't allow him to smoke. I love my daughter in law....laughing.

chit I hijacked the thread, sorry about that. But, with reference to TD.com, the answer to the original question would be yes.

Really, it has been a decade, backing into games don't count.

By that measure, Arkansas is a bottom feeding, mediocre, cupcake of an irrelevant butt of all jokes program that even Houston Nutt left at the altar.

Wait a minute, all of that is true. Poor Arky fans. Not even the bridesmaids.

I agree because i think he knows his role there -very- well. And if he could just let go of his stubbornness / fear, I think y'all would be 100% right on pace with us.

Damn glad he hasn't changed yet. ;)

At least you an admit it. Many Alabama fans act like it would be no big thing, which is of course ridiculous.

Alabama and LSU are the two most passionate fan bases out there, really in any sport. You'd think if anybody would be able to put themselves in our shoes and empathize it would be them.

Auburn fans are not distraught over Bama's success. Why? Because the entire State of Alabama is glorified by these titles, not just the University of Alabama. Of course Auburn fans would prefer it was them making the titles, but the consolation prize of state pride is not bad.

It's because we actually have a legitimate chance to be in the exact spot Alabama is. Auburn will always be a step child.

I don't think you understand that rivalry very well

But yes we are more upset about it, because LSU fans care more about college football than Auburn fans do.

No. LSU fans are distraught because they feel like it was within our grasp. The loss to Bama changed the season.

Auburn fans have no hope right now. They are resigned to their fate while LSU is not.

Also the close losses have been brutal and are starting to add up. When I think about the toughest losses I have ever experiences as an LSU fan, the 2008, 2009, 2012 and BCSCG would probably be 4 of the top 6.

More is false. As much would be a lot closer to accurate.

For a while I think we were, but as of next season we will have bigger fish to fry. Namely fielding a successful team.

Just my opinion obviously. But In my experience Bama-LSU fans are 1-2, then there is a gap. Auburn nationally would be in the top 10 though.
