Yeah theres a gap in my quick memory during that time.

I bleed Old Red and Black blood and I always say, no matter what, Tech is our #1 rival. It's a state thing. I live to see the gnats be beaten by UGA no matter what. The other teams are not rivalries.

This year is only a small part of UGA being on a different level.

No. I don't think we truly even consider one another rivals despite the evenness of the series.
This year aside, the game is typically close even when one team is down and a metric ton of UT and UGA fans will tell you that it's very often one of the more enjoyable games of the year for the very reasons that it's competitive but UT and UGA fans tend to get along pretty well when we're not trolling each other (especially in real life and even at games).

With regards to that, 'border dispute' is a bit weird for Tennessee given that we border more states than any other state in the Union (Missouri ties us with that regard) and that those borders are shared with a metric ton of SEC schools.
We house and/or border 6 SEC states and those states are home to the universities of Arkansas, Alabama, Auburn, Kentucky, Missouri, Ole Miss, Mississipi State, Georgia, Vanderbilt.
The only ones we don't border are Texas, Louisiana, Florida and South Carolina. 10 out of 14 SEC schools either border or are located in Tennessee.
That said, if we ever did name our game we should follow the lead of micro-brewers in each state who joined together to create and distribute "35th Parallel Ale" and riff off of that.
