Practicing without games. That’s not going to get old. ??

I guess the coaches and players are hoping for a midnight hour change of heart from the commish

Of course they are practicing. Everyone knows you can only catch covid in a real game, not practice. Practice is like a mostly peaceful riot, covid knows the rules.

I just read the Big 10 is now considering playing a "spring" game in October.
I'm sure anyone who is not a fan of the schools playing would choose to watch an exhibition game over a SEC, ACC or Big 12 game that actually counts.

Basically like spring practice.
With just one minor exception.....they get to watch the games every Saturday of the three conferences that are actually playing.
I actually do feel sympathy for the players, coaches and fans that really want to play but have no say so.

Not really it will be very good if there is a Spring football. That will be better since most of the players and coaches will have everything set. This will make the SEC looked bad in games when there was little or no practice before the fall games.

Lol practice? We talking about practice? You know what? I really hope Justin Fields and his bullshite racism at UGA comes back to bite his arse

I can assure the seniors and juniors that could be drafted to the NFL are not going to play in the spring for their season. Why would they take a chance on getting hurt right before the draft? It would cost them millions.

Because they are practicing.. I wonder if something still might change and the schools who want to play , may be able to get approval and use an Oct start date.

Maybe they can have full scrimmages...against other B1G teams.

They are still meeting and now looking at domed stadium options for their supposed January start.
Sorry, ain't gonna happen or if it does I can't imagine any top tierNFL prospects playing.

Yes...20 hours/week.
I thought I had read that.
So they go to class and practice but don't play games.
I know they are the intelligent, moral and highly credible voice of college sports but I don't follow that rationale.
Perhaps a big tenner can explain it to those of us that are lesser souls

Yes because they are massive hypocrites.

quote:Pretty sure that they are only doing 12 hours. 20 hours per week is the limit in season, and when it was pointed out that they were going to use up their in season practice in the Fall semester, without playing games, they begged the NCAA for a waiver and were give 12 hours per week.
Yes...20 hours/week.

that actually counts
That's debatable.
