To put them out of their misery and make the pain stop?

I'm rooting for Jackson St this weekend.

If Harsin wants to keep his job, this weekend is a must win. Although I personally think the ship has now sailed and it’s only a matter of when he’s terminated, not if.

If so they are sad excuses for "fans". Wanted Miles gone starting in 2014 but cheered for the team to go 12-0.

He needs to do two things to remain at Auburn next year. Win 8+ games and at a minimum be competitive with both UGA and Alabama, and flip like a dozen blue chip recruits for a top 10-15 class in the process.
So yeah, when not if.

Only way this guy saves his job is winning out. Or chaos ensues and AU somehow ends up in ATL and winning.
8-4 ain't saving his job

I'd certainly prefer to win, of course
But if we have to lose, might as well make it ugly so we can get on with it. I don't want some truly historic loss, but some forgettable 24-3 type affair would probably work. It's not like Auburn hangs our hat on dismantling LSU and Ed O in 2020, people tend to overlook garbage games like that, especially when they accompany the end of a coach's tenure.

No but I won't be distraught if we do lose.

Not but expectations are extremely low...

Hell no.
We had a good and spirited crowd for Mizzou at 11. The coaching situation is one thing, and a thing I believe has already been decided, the team is something else.
As long as those kids are trying, I'm pulling for them, and they have shown no signs of quitting yet.

I think it would if he suddenly turned into a monster recruiter and gave the fans and money people a reason to believe the future will be better. But like I said, that ain't happening so it's when not if he's fired.

No. It would be kind of fun giving the lsu folk hell for losing 2 straight years to a guy we had to fire for incompetence.

If Harsin by some miracle (and it would be) ended up winning out I would be incredibly happy. Just win.
