Any Georgia, LSU or Bama squad would have said… frick it.. we have 4 tries and we’re going “that way”! They would not have ran that play.

Can’t speak for Bama and Georgia

LSU wouldn’t have played bully ball. Our red zone play calling was atrocious.

Come on baw, use the past subjunctive case. You’re referring to a hypothetical in the past. You’re better than that.

Son this is the South...we have our OWN version of English , or don't youse guys up North get that?

I think the play call, if the Steers didn't have the Nads to run it inside, was play action pass. They were all coming hard to stop the run, no choice.

If you go outside it has to be the qb who can throw it away rather than take the loss.

I go 4 times inside the TE. If you can’t get a yard, you don’t deserve to win. I might even just go with the TE sneak they ran some at least twice.

And this is why we need to get rid of the targeting rule.

If Andrewn Mukuba' leading with his helmet and blasting into Gunnar Stockton's head and neck area during the SEC championship game was not called targeting than an Ohio State DB hitting Arch Manning in the shoulder is definitely not targeting.

He and his family has wasted his first two years post-HS. The most celebrated QB coming out of HS in years, and he’s hardly played. Just dumb.

There is some speculation that he wasn’t available after that QB run earlier. He walked off the field without his helmet, so maybe he wasn’t healthy.

Besides it being a horrible call. Reminded ofthe Seahawks play call at the goal line in the Super Bowl when they threw the interception.

Weisner is not even their speed RB. It’s Blue. Sark calls a pitch play and does not even use his correct personnel. Coaching malpractice.

I’m now glad Texas won last week bc of the non targeting call. If they had lost that game the loss would not have been as glaring a focus on Sark costing them the game.

But now, LOL, that play call will be remembered for ALL time.

It really wasn’t a terrible call. He tried to use our speed to the edge while tOSU had their big body’s on the field. Caleb Downs made an amazing play.

Everyone would have known it was going to the edge if Blue was in. It eliminates the entire plan of trying to catch them off guard.
This isn’t a tough concept to get.

That pitch play will haunt Texas fans for a long time. Just an absolutely awful playcall.

Yep that is a soul sucking, program gutting moment. It may break the Sark version of 'Texas is Back'

On another note Sark may be a great play caller and very good program builder/organizer but that series shows he has no dog in him. In a moment like that you need a coach who is a dog and is thinking 'i'm coming at you let's see what you got'. Sark ain't got that. At the moment of truth he flinched. He put down his knife and backed out of the bar.

No

Not really

You did see Blues two TDs where he blew by the defense bc of their aggressiveness. Maybe they are on their heels more concerned bc Blue is better RB on pass routes than Weisner.

You are welcome for helping you know your team better.

One would have thought the utter failure of the play call might have helped you understand. But nope, sip agrees it was set up just right. Sark the play calling Jedi said buckeyes will never see it coming. LOL

2nd down play call was absolutely awful. And unfortunately just some vintage Sark getting too cute with things. Pound the damn thing in from the 1.

People are coming down on Ewers but our OL was the most overrated unit of our team all year. Ohio State was getting sacks and hurries w a 4-man rush (same as Georgia). I believe this is mostly a result of scheme as well.

… you can’t run a RB seam on the 1 yard line. With Blue in, the defense would have put in different personnel. It defeats what Sark was trying to do.

The philosophy behind the call wasn’t bad, the execution of it was.

You can really tell who knows ball from comments like “he should have put in his speed guy for a run to the edge, they wouldn’t have saw that coming!”

Help your fellow horn out. He’s re-tart-ed.

At least you show you know ball

Hey dumbass other horn. Did you see Blue catch that TD against my Ags. I sure as heck did. I guess they broke your rules and threw a seem in that same scenario. Do you even watch your dang team? LOL

Should have run the Tush Push

If Quinn got hurt he could have sent in Arch for the rest of the game

Yeah that was a big error. Seemed to me like Sark was protecting Arch a bit too much.

Not sure if that was ever asked or discussed postgame. Was a reasoning provided?

The coach is Steve Sarkisian. You really don't expect him to do the things correctly to win a lot as a HC, do you?

You idiots somehow think that because he had 1 good year calling offensive plays with Saban's 4-5* players that he might compete and win big games that matter. LOL

THERES A REASON HE GOT FORS FROM SC AND WASHINGTON AS HC. Go check out win win/loss record during that time.

Doesn't matter now, everyone on our schedule next year will get nothing but Arch behind center.

They really didn't even need to do that. A regular sneak w/Ewers 4 times likely gets it in.

IMO what made it even worse was Sark in the postgame presser saying it would have been a TD if it was blocked right as if nobody can go back and look at the video that clearly shows that play was in trouble from the moment they lined up and was dead in the water when the motion man brought another defender over.
