Apparently Tua's preparation has been phenomenal.

Apparently, Tua was one bad possession away from replacing Jalen Hurts in Alabama's win over Clemson last Monday. The coaches and staff were reportedly blown away with his preparation for that game. Obviously, I want Tua to stay on the bench in the National Championship game, but it sounds like Saban may actually pull the trigger if he needs to. I'm surprised Tua hasn't won the job already, and I think Alabama fans should 100% expect for Tua to be named the starter before next fall. Maybe Kirby should let Jalen complete a few passes in the first quarter so he will stay in the game and inevitably fail to pick up key third downs in the fourth quarter when it matters.

Jalen has the naked pictures of Saban though, so he ain’t going anywhere.

Tua is 2 years away from making a start at LEAST. Saban is gonna ride that horse shite sorry excuse for a QB Jalen Hurts until all his eligibility is squeezed out.

So you didn't hear that they almost put him in the game last Monday? I have heard from multiple sources.

Wow! Yet the kid may very well win a NC.

It appears your opinion is horse shite.

I’m gonna drop some knowledge on all you Jalen Hurts supporters to think about going forward. Jalen presents an illusion. What he does, at least in most big games I’ve seen, is play like total garbage and put the team in terrible position, and in the very end pull something out his arse to save the day. The lone exception I can think of is the MSU game this year.

Otherwise, he did it in the national championship last year, and he did it roughly all year this year. He plays to a level of exceptional mediocrity that allows the team to look great when they’re supposed to, but expose his struggles the better the competition. Stop looking at his damn record and actually watch the games. Fromm is 100x the QB Jalen will ever be.

I'll be really pissed if Saban pulls Hurts. Georgia needs Hurts to suck in this game.

The real illusion is the assumption that Tua is the better QB right now. Blake Barnett was the highest rated QB Nick has ever recruited. He turned the ball over, a lot, in practice. But Nick still gave him the start and he looked like complete garbage vs USC when the game was on the line. After Hurts did his thing BB played in mop up duty and looked like Tom Brady. I think Saban learned a lot from that and I trust his judgement.

So, in a way, you are saying there isn't really a QB on your roster you feel comfortable with to convert on 3rd and 7?

Based on Nick's own words ...it would have to be Hillary Clinton for so both sides had something to lose

He won't pull Jalen in the championship, he's going down with Jalen throwing incompletions all over the place.

The backup QB is always the best player on the field...

You guys truly are ready to go down with Jalen if necessary. I don't know if that's commendable or idiotic.
