I can assure you that no-one outside of New Orleans (and maybe some place in BR) watch the Pelicans. The average person in NorthLa doesn't even know LA has a pro basketball team LSU is certainly the most popular team in Louisiana.

That's it, and I've known and met a shite ton of people through elementary, middle, and high school, college, work, etc. One Tennessee fan. One. His wife actually was an Ole Miss fan. 49 years. One.
