Clemson not looking too stellar, either, but at least they’re undefeated...

So you are saying if UGA, Utah, and OU lose, Florida should be in the playoffs

Agreed. Wont happen but we can dream. They will put Baylor in before us in that scenario

I can’t say this enough, Baylor, Utah, and Oklahoma would lose to any of the following SEC teams on a neutral field right now:
LSU
Georgia
Florida
Auburn
Alabama
The #1 seed gets to play a team with less talent than a Illinois or Missouri team if it’s Utah or Baylor. It’s fricking criminal.

Utah is a VERY good team... Have you not seen them play?

And if you dig deeper into opponents of opponents you'll see OSU's record is built on G5 teams.
Doesn't mean shite but opponents record alone can be misleading.

They could lose to us, but I certainly wouldn't say "would"

So now y’all gonna use past achievements to justify dropping off a cliff in the present. Thought that was what we did

Exponentially more than Tennessee's

LOL our "dropping off a cliff" year is basically Tennessee's average season during their glory years

12 of the 68 LSU opponent losses were at the hands of LSU

Why are we also not laughing at Clemson here?

At least 10 of the opponent losses of all of those teams were at the hands of that team.

Not that Alabama's SoS was great this year, it wasn't. But win% based SoS metrics are about as bad as it gets.
Quick example. Utah and Alabama have the same opponent records, but their SoS is much different. Alabama has played a much more difficult schedule that would be much harder to go undefeated on. You would expect an above average team to accumulate more losses on Alabama's schedule than Utah's schedule by far.
Yet this metric you cite pretends they are equal. Alabama would likely be undefeated on Utah's schedule, while Utah would have 2 losses minimum on Alabama's schedule, probably 3.
