Notre Dame getting getting votes at 0-2 coming off a home loss to Marshall

If you'd told me Ark, UK, and Tenn would all be in the top 15 during the offseason I'd have told you that you were nuts. This despite knowing all 3 have been steadily improving.
Even so, what a sight to see!

Probably the earliest part of the season ND has not been ranked. One win and they could find themselves right back in the top 10, though.

Did they make a mistake and list Miami as losers to Southern Miss this week?

Why is Kentucky ranked ahead of Arkansas???? because they beat an overrated FLA team??? who already went from UR to 12th ahead of Arkansas after beating an over rated Utah team??? like if these fricking idiot pussy pollsters don't have the balls or the brains to rank App state, and NOT RANK A&M. which is complete fricking bs they are even ranked, or that they are ahead of app state after clearly being the shittier team. if they dont feel like app states win over an over rated, shouldn't even be ranked A&M isn't enough to make app st a top 25 team then why the frick us Kentucky beating an over rated FLA team enough to put them at 9 over an ark team that has been ranked the whole time??

There's so much wrong with that poll, where to start?
-Utah ranked over Florida is crazy and Florida shouldn't be ranked.
-Where is Mississippi State?
-A&M ranked? Stupid.

Start with Oregon. Idk how they began the season ranked so high with a first year coach. Sure they have a lot of talent, but you just don't do that.

Mississippi State should probably be in that #24 spot.
This has been one of those most disrespected teams I can remember.

It’s tough to massage a hype based poll into a merit based poll.

We do seem too high but did deserve a bump going into the swamp - a sold out crowd- and all the media on their nuts since the Utah win.
99% of “experts” picked Florida.
That said , looking forward to October 1st and going into the Grove against another ranked SEC team.

The teams State has beaten so far this year we’re a combined 7-17 last season. The team you beat last night was 1-11 last season.
What has State done that’s being disrespected?

You're joking, but it wouldn't surprise me.

I remember a Notre dame team losing to Michigan one year, and moved into the top twenty. Believe it was in the 80s. I believe they were unranked to start

Only semi joking. I went back awhile ago and looked at teams with the worst records that were still in the top 10 or 15 at seasons end and most years found it to be ND. More often than not they would be the highest ranked team with their # of losses. (Not sure if this makes sense) It's been awhile since I did that, though.
