Vols too high. Still feel like we are a top 15/20 team but not top 10 until our offense is consistent.

It’s more the attrition in front of us than anything else. The Kansas game in 12 days will tell us a lot.

Not only is LSU not in the top 25, they are actually 33rd in votes. And the two losses are to a ranked St. Louis team on the road and Florida on the road. The only reason you can logically assume is there is a significant dislike for Wade among the voters. Hopefully, that's not the case for the selection committee.

meh, the good thing about College Basketball is you just have to get in the tournament then you can prove just how good you are.

That's how I'm looking at it. NET is more important anyways. Also, if LSU hadn't played so poorly in the two losses this wouldn't be a discussion. Winning will sort all of this out. If we are good enough in the end, we will be ranked/seeded appropriately IMO.

You might well be right; but the selection committee is made up of basketball people as well; and I certainly would not be surprised if we get seeded poorly as a result (assuming LSU plays well enough the remainder of the season to be too good to keep out of it). While Wade isn't doing anything different from most major basketball programs, he was careless/stupid enough to get caught on tape doing it. It's naïve to think there will not be consequences for it.
