has zero f’ing clue. Throw their revolving door of football coaches and outdated superiority complex out the window and focus on the fit.

You don’t realize how left UT is.

As a whole, that school and it’s administration is more concerned about banning their fight song, offensive pronouns, shifting genders, and gun control than they are about tailgates and BBQ sauce debates.

UT as a school is no more woke than what LSU has become. Fact.

I agree. UT horns are a bunch of leftist freaks. They would fit better with California and the PAC.

I wish we still played them every year but I don’t want them in conference- nor OU at all. I just really don’t want to hear the annoying Boomer Sooner that much. Barf.

Horn alumni everywhere are pissing themselves just thinking about having to play nice with them poor southern schools, much less playing them in football every year.

Lol. Again, most of you have no clue. The assumption is that it’s a Texas school, so it can’t be that bad. Wrong. They’re insanely left of center.

But screw what I have to say. Do your own research.

There are many reasons why the SEC should never, ever admit Texas but the fact they are a liberal school is pretty low on that list. Texas is no more liberal than UF and Vandy for sure and likely a couple of others.

You don't want Texas because they are insufferable and they don't play well with others. At all. They look down on everyone and they have no hesitation of cheating in ways most SEC schools can't even imagine in order to get power over others. Texas always has and always will only care about themselves and there is a reason they are looking to blow up yet another conference, it isn't for the betterment of the SEC.

If we were voting for members of a congressional committee, I could see your point.

I hate Texas with the heat of a thousand suns. Which is exactly why I want to play them every year. I cant understand why A&M is so against this.

Someone used the word the word toxic earlier. Toxicity MAKES college football. Bring it on.

Why in the hell do you think others here have no clue about a school like UT? Question is, do you know a damn thing about the shifting politics of LSU, comparatively? Study up. It's written about right here on TD daily, on multiple boards.

It goes far beyond the football field.
They’re about themselves and destroying everybody else—and I’m not talking sports.

All politics in higher education is shifting left. No debating that. But UT is on another level.

Inviting Texas into your conference is like inviting the Mafia to take a small piece of your business.

Its time to blackmail South Carolina.

A Yes to Texas is a Yes to Clemson from the Arkansas-TAMU-Missouri group. That kind of quid pro quo for the 4th blocking vote seems entirely appropriate.

If you're worried about it don't go there. If you're already there or have attachments to it then by all means take a stand and try to change things. Otherwise, who GAF what they do?

As for gun control... Guns don't belong on college campuses. And you're a moron if you think they do belong.

The viral hate you two schools have for each other is again EXACTLY why this needs to happen. Seriously, college football can only be made better when Texas/Texas A&M play each other every year as conference rivals.
