I'd say Mazzone, but it looks like Texas might hire him.

You thought this was so funny & clever that you posted it on both the Tiger Rant and the SEC rant.

Kindly, DIAF.

It's simple.

No one worth a shite wants to work with Ed Gorilla O. I wouldn't. Aranda is a special guy. He is loyal and probably waiting for them to fire O. He'll be head coach in 2019.

No you won't.

This could've happened:

and could've turned LSU into a championship contender next year.

However, this guy can't get out of his own way:

Yes sir, that should tell everyone how bad he sucked.

Even the FCS schools aren't offering him a job.

I don’t think Aranda is “loyal”. He is making bank and can take any job he wants the next couple years. He’s go a plethora of good defensive players, and can basically name his price.

I think they are looking at him as a Quality Control Coach on the support staff. Doesn't Saban do something similar and have a ton of ex coordinators hired for QC positions?

If that is the case, it's not a bad hire. He wouldn't be the OC or anything. I don't think he is their new 10th assistant.

Correct. I think he is waiting for a NFL DC job he likes and he will be gone.
