Episode 3 comes on the SEC Network tonight and will be dealing with the turbulent 1960s. The first two episodes were chalk full of interesting anecdotes from the various teams in the conference, both past and present.

I have somewhat enjoyed it. I think it would have been a whole lot better if they didn’t tie everything to race.

I haven’t seen any of them. I forgot to DVR the first two, but I’ve got it set from now on. I wonder if they’ll run them again.

We've been recording them. Finally got the time to watch the first episode last night and it was great.

Those early Sewanee teams were hard core.

I also loved the stories of how cutthroat Heisman could be, especially after he got to Atlanta and GT. I would love to read some of the columns he wrote for the Constitution.

Are they available anywhere on demand for those of us without DVR?

It would be dishonest to make a cradle to grave documentary on the history of college football without discussing the racial issues tied to it.

Especially when it comes to what went on during the 50s and 60s. The Civil Rights Movement was a big part of our country's history, especially during those two decades, and college football was caught up in the middle of it on more than one occasion.
