I just caught part of episode 2 last night after knowing nothing about it.

it's phenomenal. Should be requisite television for every rant reader. I immediately set it to record series. If any of you are baby boomers or have baby boomer parents they will absolutely LOVE it.

I want to watch it but that espn show that aired right after the UF - Miami game angered me so I’m reluctant to watch it. I’ll wait and see the feedback you get in this thread before I give it a go.

Brother, that's the EXACT reason I missed the first episode and would not have caught episode 2 had I not seen old LSU footage while flipping channels. They do a great job focusing on all the programs. Gen Neyland, Bear Bryant, Bobby Dodd, Paul Dietzel and of course...all the great players.

But I have to say, this is a straight up documentary. There's no leftie agenda to it thank God. Now, as they move into the 60s I hope they can present the desegregation piece fairly without turning it into a scathing commentary on what is obviously a dark time in SEC history.

I caught about 20 minutes of the 150 years
of CFB doc and it was basically Mississippi Burning and the CTE Will Smith movie smashed up together.

Why must we always focus on the negative? There is nothing that brings people of different backgrounds and ethnicities together like football.

Good to hear this one is different.

It's been MUCH, MUCH better than the ESPN 150 stuff they have showed so far.

They've done such a good job of weaving in old video, interviews, radio calls, all that stuff. The story telling has been great.

The 150 years of college football show bashed the South for being the last to integrate and then when the South integrated they bashed the South for pretty much ending black football schools.

I hope y'all enjoyed the first couple episodes because the next one, and probably the next one after that is going to be nothing but integration and how bad whitey was.

I'll be skipping them until the entry of Arkansas and South Carolina.
