Alabama’s assistant coach Bryan Hodgson started a GoFundMe to help his family. If you have any spare funds to donate, please do.
So apparently GoFundMe aren’t allowed here so here is a link to Bryan Hodgsons twitter. The Link for it is on his page.

For anyone wondering, here’s the link to Coach Hodgson’s tweet, verifying the GoFundMe:

Don’t apologize to that a-hole. This was easily verified. He just felt like being an arse clown cock sucker for a day. Just like every other day.

It was posted by one of Alabama’s assistant basketball coaches. This is just about one of the most verifiable GoFundMe’s I have ever seen.

God, this has me all kind of messed up and emotional. Fate can be so cruel. A week from this state opening the vaccine to everyone over 16 and Covid takes this young man from us.

Thank you for posting this, mistaken4193.
We come here to rag each other because we love (and live) sports, and sometimes we forget that behind the screen names there are real people with real issues, both physical and mental.
From everything I’ve read over the years, Fluff had both, but sports (and in particular, basketball) was his outlet to feel like a normal, young student, and it was truly a blessing that he was able to bring those around him along for the ride. Maybe even some who were having similar issues and fears, but couldn’t express it like Fluff did.
He may have been different than us, but his passion for sports made him one of us.
I love this tweet by Jeff Allen, Alabama’s Director of Sports Medicine:

No offense guys, but fans of other schools aren’t likely to know who this is. I will say that these kind of guys are what makes our conference and our affiliations so meaningful. It’s WAY more than sports. It’s guys like this and good bros who would help his family. It’s a culture, a brotherhood. Respek.
RIP.
RIP.

If you’ve watched Bama play basketball vs your team, you’ve probably seen him on TV. He gets a lot of camera time because he’s at every game - home & away, and he’s a big ol’ boy with a unique look. He’s the embodiment of SEC Fanhood. “It just means more.” I agree with everything you said.

The GoFundMe has raised over $15,000 in an hour. This kid was special.
