Anybody Believe Colorado State Will Pull The Upset Over Arkansas and/or Florida?

If you can call it an upset...

Arkansas is the second SEC team to play a game in Ft. Collins. Mississippi State Bulldogs was the first, beating the Rams 37-27 on Oct. 10, 1981, at Hughes Stadium.

The Rams’ all-time record against SEC teams is 1-12, with the lone win coming in 1992 at LSU. Missouri was in the Big 12 when it lost to CSU in the 1997 Holiday Bowl.

Hopefully, we won't have another #deflategate

Damn that stadium is pretty nice.

Love the mountains peeking over the edge.

Stadium seating is way way too far from the field, unlike the Swamp which is built straight up and fans are right on top of the action.

Colorado St has the worse defense in the country. If they beat the pigs then they should close the program down and Moment of Truth can be a Gator fan...which he secretly desires anyway.

Just bring oxygen tanks and you should be ok.

Yup. I think it's definitely more than possible.

Going to a college football game in Colorado is a strange experience.

It's like going to a high school soccer game in the south. I'll probably never do it again.

I went to Air Force to see them and Colorado State play. All the Rams needed to do was win and they were in the MW championship game. Supposedly this was a big rivalry.

I Hung out with Colorado State fans. Before the game, while tailgating (if you want to call it that), no one talked football. Everyone talked about work, garage type projects, hiking/camping and maybe the Broncos were brought up once or twice.

During the game, there was no yelling. The student sections did that mostly and were not very loud to be honest.

When Air Force kicked a last second FG to win it, we all left. None of them were upset and none of them talked much about the game. To say it's not like the SEC is a huge understatement. Football is simply not a subject up here.

That stadium is really nice. Was in Ft Collins last year while it was being built.

Ft Collins is a great town.

No. I watched both their games so far.

This is not a good football team.

Arky is at their house and I'm sure elevation in Colorado plays a factor. Still Arky should win.

They aren't winning in the Swamp unless UF comes out and looks awful vs UK, loses, then has a breakdown and has a mass suicide before the game leaving only the fourth stringers to play.

Can CSU beat Arkansas? Well sure they can.

Will they beat Arkansas? Enh, I don't think so but weirder things have happened.

The CSU offense isn't completely helpless, they will move the ball some and score points. Their defense, however, has been horrific against teams who weren't touted as offensive juggernauts.

If Ty Storey gets injured and Cole Kelley takes over for Arkansas with his patented "deer caught in the headlights" look of utter confusion then the Rams have a fighting chance in the game.

My guess is that we putz around for a while trying to jump start our clinically dead running game before bombing away for a couple of TDs to put the game out of reach.

Hogs are going to score a lot of points in that game. I don't think it'll be close.
