To an 8-4 type season this fall ala LSU after their championship? They lost a ton to the draft and Stetson Bennet is entirely average, I'm not sure he can put the team on his back game in and game out.

I'm calling an upstate when the Dawgs battle the Dawgs in Starville in mid-November.

I don't think so. But there is a chance someone else rises from the east to dethrone them. But unlikely. They look pretty solid.

We're not LSU so no. 10 wins is the absolute bottom line floor this year.

Almost none barring a ton of injuries. Kirby has Dogs on a roll... expect 1-2 more great years. A number of teams have had very good 2-3 year runs. If Kirby really re-loads then a good chance at a "dynasty" type 5-7 year run.

A lot depends on resurgence by Gators and/or Tennessee. Right now the path in the East is clearly in UGA favor.

They won’t like this but it’s true. We’d have to get some major NCAA violations to have less than 9 wins in any season under Kirby

This also could have been said a year ago.

UGA hasn’t had 4 losses since Kirbys first year and they’ve been stockpiling top 3 recruiting classes. No way does UGA finish 8-4 for the foreseeable future.

Is there a chance we don't repeat as champs? Absolutely, that is pretty damn hard to pull off, and doesn't happen very often. But 8 and 4? That's even less likely.

Depends on whether Kirby quits coaching and starts chasing tail all day.

Not with their schedule.

At worst they draw 1, stretch for 2, losses between Oregon, AU, UTk, or UF, and I guess there is always the Pirate Wildcard win.

Then they'd have to lose the SEC CG and a bowl game.

I don't see it. 3 losses is the bottom floor IMO, but who knows, anything can happen.

I think our game vs. Oregon will be closer than most of us Dawgs fans feel.

Tennessee will be a stern test. So will Kentucky.

Florida is always tough.

Mississippi State's a sleeper....beware of this team.

South Carolina's on the upswing.

Auburn's never to be taken for granted even if an H-bomb has hit'em.

Anything can happen, but I think UGA's got enough horses to go 12-0. If our inexperience turns into mature experience by the end of the season, Dawgs could go all the way again.

Fall to 8-4? Not likely. At the worst, I see 11-1 in the regular season (loss to Oregon if it happens) pending no injuries and such, but I'm predicting us to go 12-0 again (prayers sent!).:)

Zero chance. They have too much talent and their schedule in the East is quite weak. Anything more than 1 loss is a major failure for Kirby.

I suppose there’s a chance but even if the defense takes a step back it will probably still be a top ten unit.
