And he’s about to be the #1 overall pick?

Anthony Richardson is gonna cost some GM his job. Honestly, really smart move of him to declare. He can go into the draft as a raw guy with a lot of hype and potential and probably go first round. If he stayed at Florida and continued to play like he did, it would've confirmed he was bad.

Unfortunately teams could draft Biden, lose all their games and still profit biggly.

He was not dogshit lol.

I agree he’s not worth the risk, but I see why some teams like him.

You have to realize that Florida is a really bad football team. Put Richardson on Georgia, LSU, etc and he would have the Cam Newton, Tebow like numbers. He has to get a lot better, but for what he has now, he is definitely first round talent.

Napier's seat is going to be on fire if they drop the Utah and Tennessee games in September this next season.

Call it the Josh Allen effect. He's the only one of these project QBs I can ever remember who made the huge accuracy leap needed to be a good NFL QB. A ton of GMs are going to get fired chasing the next Allen.

Regardless if Florida was good or bad, he makes a lot of bad decisions. His hype is coming from a poor class, great combine, and potential.

I’d say teams “know” what they’re doing, but they have no clue as shown many times in the past. It’s their business though and they’ll do what they want.

End of the day they’ll still rake in massive profits so it really doesn’t matter.

Would’ve never played at those schools. Costs his team to many games.

Never cracked a 60% completion percentage for a season. Threw 1 pick for every 1.6 TDs for his career?

Maybe he'll turn it around. Anything is possible, I suppose.

Maybe he can develop like Josh Allen but jeez, imagine him being trotted out against the Niners or Jets defense with a bad supporting cast in a few months

Feel the same way about Levis. If anyone takes one of those two before Young or Stroud, they will be fired.

He wasn't very good but these teams draft on skill and potential, right or wrong.

imagine a 21 year old cam newton playing with players that had the skillset of a peewee team filled with 9 year olds.

that was the 2022 Florida Gators. of course he was going to look bad.

Sure but during Cam's undefeated season, he didn't really have a single NFL player with him on offense

He's not. The Bears won't pick him and any team that pays that ransom to move into no. 1 is not going to take him either. I could see him being the third qb off the board though. I would rather have Levis than him.
