Pick one out of Vick and Tua to lead your team at the same point of their college career.

Answer to me is Tua and it sucks he is at Bama. I don't see a flaw in his game and IMO he is the best QB prospect in college in a long time. Am I overreacting? Please tell me that he is not as good as I suspect. I thought Vick was a cheat code and I was in awe of him and thought it would change the QB position forever in the NFL. He was so gifted talent wise with his running and had a cannon but Tua is a cheat code in everything else. Kid is so good throwing the ball. Lefty is the only concern because of the specialized NFL Tackles but I believe it will be a none issue like Steve Young. Is the hype warranted or I'm am I blinded by the media hype?

I don't care what his competition has been this year, his stats on 3rd downs ridiculous. He has the better team than Vick but the intangibles are on another level.

Vick wasn't great in the NFL but he was terrifying at Va Tech. That national championship game against FSU when he dragged them to the lead in the 4th quarter was special. They just didn't have the overall talent to finish the game.

Tebow isn't in the same stratosphere as talent. Tebow was a gamer but not a special talent QB wise.

Of all QB's besides those two, Cam Newton is a good choice that was genetically gifted but he is a righty. I still take Tua.

Eta: Tebow was a gamer but his intangibles were his best talent. NFL showed he wasn't a very good QB but great enough for college. Much more limited than Vick, Tua or Newton.

And this doesn't take away Tebow's special career.

Just curious but why Vick over Tua? What makes Vick a better QB than Tua? I haven't seen all of Tua's games but I was floored when I did watch him. What is a negative for him that is a problem.

What makes Vick better at that stage? Vick's numbers didn't jump out like others and nowhere close to being a better passer. They are 2 different types of QB's. Vick is a much better version of Jalen Hurts. Tua is a better version of everybody I can think of at the moment as a sophmore. I can't think of a comparable player.

I agree but I'm sold because I've seen him be great in big wins so I know his ceiling is through the room. Incredible potential.

What makes tua special besides his strong arm, amazing accuracy, and beautiful passes is his ability to make quick reads, quick decisions, and fool defenses.

Oh yeah, he can run pretty well too while keeping his eyes downfield.

That's my point. Way too young to be the best QB in college football but he is.

Honestly Vicks are dime a dozen now. He did what he did when there wasn’t a lot of blazing fast QBs

Vick all day, and I think he's a trash human being.

Also, Tebow had a great skill set for college football. It just didn't translate to the pros.

Vick all day long. He had nowhere near the talent Bama has around Tua. Go back and watch him put that VT team on his back in 99 vs FSU. They had no business being on the field with that FSU team but Vick had them in the game.
