BREAKING: Florida’s Andrew Nembhard will withdraw from the NBA Draft and intends to transfer, source told @Stadium. The 6-foot-5 sophomore point guard averaged 11.2 points and 5.6 assists per game this past season and should be a pursued heavily by other high-major schools.

Honestly I think he is overrated IMO. He plays too slow.

If he thinks it's Mike White's system, he's sadly mistaken. When other PGs are in, they play at a much higher tempo.

Good luck to Andrew.

He was a great player for us, but he didn't always mesh well with the rest of the team. We have a bunch of really great athletes who never got a chance to cut loose imo. Nembhard was always much better in the half court game.

That said he could really salt a game away with his ball handling and free throw shooting. We were really good a killing some clock.

Best of luck AN unless you go to a rival.

Good, he can go slow some other teams offense down.

What's South Carolina's coping mechanism? Crying. Because that's all you do.

I'm glad we're the highlight of South Carolina's sports history and helps you cope with how bad your sports teams are now.

Meanwhile, we have NCAA Championship trophies in football, basketball, and baseball to help us cope.

Congrat's on that. It may have to feed your basketball soul for a while. Has Carolina made it back to the tourney since?

Nope. Glad he's gone.

Most UF insiders thought he was gone no matter what, but I think we expected him to go to Australia or Europe, not transfer.

His transferring is surprising but the reality is that everyone in the program is expecting Appleby to be an upgrade at PG

I would've loved him back but oh well. Wish him luck at whatever program he ends up at. He'd be a great fit for UVA imo.

Mann over Nembhard is a good call for the style of play White wants to play. Nembhard signing was a panic move to grab the best PG available after Shai Alexander flipped to Kentucky. Excited to see a more explosive offense with Appleby at point and Nembhard will probably play better at a school like Gonzaga
