Pretty sure every university is doing something similar. It is very difficult to hide from the DEI folks.

The company I work for told them and ESG to pound sand.
It’s not hard. You just realize their threat is baseless and tell them to piss off, because you enjoy being a profitable company.

Depends what business you are in, who your customers are, and where you are located. If you are a regional construction company in the south, not a big problem. If you are a public university trying to get students from around the world, top notch professors or federal grants, see what happens if you tell them to pound sand. They will make life a nightmare and pull every dirty trick in the book.
