I think Bama and Oklahoma each win handily

Bama and UGA both win and play for all the marbles in ATL. Mentor vs Mentee showdown for the ages
Posted on 12/18/17 at 12:26 pm to Skyler97
I believe we can win but we're going to have step up a level to do it. More than we have against any team so far this season. Bama has its work cut out for them. Still, Bama is lucky as frick to get in, so they're playing with house money. I wouldn't mind if they took a page out of Auburn's book and just played completely loose and let the talent take over.

We're all aware Georgia was good this year. You guys don't have to keep spamming the board talking about the CFP.

I have already come to accept the fact that Bama is gonna beat UGA in the national title because CFB is an evil sport that hates me
Posted on 12/18/17 at 12:39 pm to BHMKyle
Oklahoma's defense is trash.
But their offense more than makes up for it. I've got OU over Georgia. Will root for UGA though.

If he were talking about Georgia I would understand your point and probably agree. But this is about all 4 teams in the playoffs and about the playoffs, not only about Georgia.

I've been having bad back pain, sciatica, and went to an Orthopedic Doctor. I was wearing a Georgia hat and he asked me if I was a Georgia fan. When I said yes, he said he used to be a team doctor for Auburn.

This to me is the story of the entire playoff. Is Oklahoma's offense good enough to compensate for their defense? Or it can be asked another way: Can Oklahoma's defense do enough to help their offense win.
Oklahoma clearly has the best offense.
I think Clemson probably has the best defense.
I think Clemson and Georgia are the most balanced teams in the playoff.
My gut tells me Clemson beats Bama 24-10... Georgia squeaks one out over Oklahoma 31-28.... and then Georgia-Clemson is a real toss-up. My heart says Georgia, but my head tells me that Clemson is actually the best team in the country.

I don't think you and your fellow posters, who also replied, understand sarcasm. I understand the OP and acknowledged your good season. Just has been awhile and more of you Georgia fans are posting.

I personally believe Bama should be the dog in this tournament.

Ha! I noticed it as a hit "Submit" and quickly corrected myself.
