Is there inner turmoil within the MSU football program for how Moorhead has handled the Kat Thompson situation?

Not really. The lack of effort and unwillingness to start Garrett Shrader is what is not sitting well with fans. The fanbase and KT have moved on from one another since before the season started. He is only on the team to save a year of eligibility.

On the other hand, do I think we’d be a better offense with KT at QB running the read option, abso-flippin-lutely. Moorhead is a moron.

I thought Moorhead had a good pedigree and would be a good coach for ya'll. He's been disappointing to say the least.

KT isn’t even on the radar of how furious this fan base is with our coaching staff. For us to pissed about KT would mean we aren’t pissed at the absolute lack of effort and coaching and conditioning and preparation and practicing and development and soul of this team.

KT hasnt crossed my mind. I struggle with legit everything else we do. Our coaching is pathetic. We are ARkansas with better players.

Not specifically related to this but there certainly is turmoil.

But the more I think about this situation, I agree that this was handled very poorly

We are soft as frick. That starts with the English major* at the top: Sloppy Joe.

Even when we sucked arse--which we did for a very long time--teams hated playing us because we were physical. We punched people in the mouth for 60 minutes. That culture has disappeared in a matter of a year and a half.

*not hating on English majors

We thought Moorhead was a good hire too. All the national publications said we hit it out of the park with the hire. Not one reporter had a negative take. We had every reason to be hopeful last year with the team we had coming back.

And then reality hit. He seems like a great guy and all but he is not a D1 head coach. The fact that Penn State never missed a beat should tell all. And then came the “Bob from Bogue Chitto” comment. He find out quickly the “Bob from Bogue Chitto”s out there are the guys that secure his salary.

Starkville High School’s coaching staff would have been able to secure us at least 9 wins last year. I have no idea what this guy is doing. And I hope we don’t wait 1 or 2 more years to figure out he can’t coach. We won’t have much competition for coaching searches at the end of this year. Next year will be a carrousel for coaching turn overs though.

Which is a shame because we have an experienced Oline, 2 decent QBs, zubee and Osiris Mitchell at Wr and one of the best RBs in the nation and only score 10 on Tennessee.

Defense we lost a lot but they played well enough to win every game except Auburn. Offense has been atrocious just like last year even with a ton of talent
