Congrats to Arkansas! Very good numbers. Fyi...So far this season (long way to go), the UGA-Clemson game has drawn the highest numbers overall @8.9 million.

Thank you Arkansas for giving potential Texas recruits yet another reason to choose A&M over Texas … cause they’re sure as hell not going to Fayetteville

I don’t really know, but I do think it’s very funny that Horn fans think it’s because their fans tuning in to see them play you that made the ratings high, when in reality It was all the fans that wanted to see them get their arse beat that made the ratings high including the hog fans

You have to look at Texas for those numbers. Arkansas rides the coat tails of the crowd that watches Texas.

Not sure who was watching on TV….but inside the stadium I’m thinking hog fans showed up ok.

Sure.
As though America didn't tune in because damn near errbody enjoys seeing the Horns get beat down.
Stanford's beat down of USC was also impressive but most people in Cali were at the beach or doing whatever it is they do there.
Let's not pretend like the SEC had to sell OU and Texas. Texas basically came begging to join.
The real question is why were they so desperate. Perhaps they just saw the writing on the wall for the Big 12 and wanted to get out while the getting was good. Or maybe it's just classic Texas greed and the need for bigger, better, moar. Maybe it's just straight up jealousy of Aggy. Maybe all of the above.
Whatever the reason, Texas wanted in. And OU came along for the ride, not wanting to be left behind. And here we are.
